Engineering & automation projects01 / ABOUT
I am pursuing a B.Tech in Mechatronics and Automation at VIT Chennai. My interests span mechanical design, automation, control systems, simulation, and the application of AI to engineering problems.
I enjoy working across the mechanical and software sides of a problem— from understanding a physical system and modelling it to developing control logic, simulations, and data-driven prediction approaches.
02 / SKILLS
CAD, DFM, GD&T, tolerance stack-up and basic manufacturing processes.
MATLAB, Simulink, PID control, FluidSIM and LabVIEW simulation concepts.
Python, Java fundamentals, data analysis and machine-learning model development.
Minitab, JMP, Six Sigma fundamentals and engineering data interpretation.
03 / PROJECTS
A rain detection and alert system developed using a 555 timer-based circuit to trigger an alarm when water is detected.
A MATLAB/Simulink-based lane keeping system exploring vehicle dynamics and PID control for maintaining the desired path.
A physical implementation and study of an intermittent-motion Geneva mechanism using 3D-printed components.
A simulation concept investigating pneumatic braking control based on load conditions and proportional pressure regulation.
IN PROGRESS / RESEARCH
04 / EXPERIENCE
Observed automotive component and shop-floor processes involving motors, starters, alternators, testing stages and assembly operations.
Exposure to submerged arc welding and industrial pipe manufacturing processes, including coating operations.
Supported event registrations and coordination, helped conduct events, and participated in blood donation drive activities and certificate distribution.
